About LIG UK
The UK has a growing body of people working in the maturing field of Affective Computing. This site is set up to provide an opportunity for connecting academics, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students and industry people working in the field in various parts of the UK. The spring board for LIG UK has been the series of events titled ‘Affective Computing and Social Signal Processing in the UK’ (AC@UK) that took place in September 2012 at the University of Nottingham, and subsequently on 19 December 2013 at Queen Mary University of London. These events demonstrated the importance and the potential of being connected. This is therefore a great time to get to know each other better, and start new connections and collaborations within the UK!
